Several Premier League Major Clubs Are in the Mix As Al Hilal Consider Offloading Prolific Serbian Forward.

Aleksandar Mitrovic could be on the verge of a sensational Premier League return. This comes just two years after he left Fulham for Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal in 2023 on a deal that was worth £50 million. The Serbian striker has excelled in the Saudi Pro League, netting an astonishing 68 goals in 79 appearances.

Al Hilal are preparing for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup. As a result, they are targeting high-profile players, such as Napoli’s Victor Osimhen. However, the Saudi club must balance their foreign player quota. Hence, they will have to bid adieu to a foreign player and Mitrovic may be on the chopping block.

As per several reports, he may be on his way back to the Premier League. Reportedly, major Premier League clubs like Manchester United, Everton, and West Ham United have shown interest. Al Hilal are open to selling or loaning the 30-year-old once they secure a replacement. They’ve put on a £40 million price tag for any potential suitors.

Premier League Clubs in Hot Pursuit

West Ham United and Everton are reportedly monitoring the situation closely. Both clubs are in need of a consistent goalscorer. Considering Mitrovic previously netted 38 goals and provided 11 assists in 129 Premier League appearances for Fulham, he fits the bill perfectly for the two clubs.

At Everton, new owners The Friedkin Group are eager to support David Moyes with a marquee signing up front. Now, if the coach deems him to be, then Mitrovic could be that statement addition. The Toffees struggled for goals last season. Mitrovic’s proven Premier League record could be a game-changer for them next season.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have emerged as another interested party after missing out on Chelsea-bound Liam Delap. The Red Devils will not be participating in any European football next season after an underwhelming season at the Old Trafford this season. As a result, INEOS are planning a squad overhaul to give some serious competition next season.

Mitrovic is among the options being considered. Their primary target is Viktor Gyokores. However he is on the radar of some of the biggest teams around the world. As a result, Mitrovic remains their backup target. His impressive goal-per-game ratio, which is better than Karim Benzema and Ivan Toney this past season, has only added to his appeal.

Aleksandr Mitrovic Ready for a Pay Cut

Reportedly, Mitrovic is interested in a move back to England. Apparently, she is even willing to reduce his wages to facilitate a move. This increases the likelihood of a deal. Reportedly, Al Hilal have not yet received formal bids. However, it seems they are braced for offers. It is expected that they will open negotiations once they land a new striker.
