Real Madrid took an early lead with a goal from Gonzalo García as the opener against BVB. Fran García (20’), and a decisive strike from Kylian Mbappé (90+4’) helped Madrid secure a narrow victory over Dortmund. BVB fought back with efforts from Maximilian Beier (90+2’) and Serhou Guirassy (90+8’ (P)), but it wasn’t enough to overturn the deficit.

Being unbeaten in the tournament, Alonso and his side will have possible their biggest challenge to overcome against the Parisians.

PSG who triumphed over Bayern in the final four will come in as the favourites to win the whole thing. However, given Real Madrid is on full squad strength and the goal scoring spree, Alonso and his men can surprise the world with the Madrid heritage as the final phases of CWC 2025 approach.
