Former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is back in the headlines, not for an official comeback, but for her sharp tongue. During a recent conversation with comedian Bert Kreischer, the 38-year-old MMA legend responded with biting sarcasm when the discussion turned to her potential UFC return in 2026 and what it might take to make it happen. Rousey joked she’d demand a $1 billion payday before lacing up the gloves again.

But when Kreischer brought up Joe Rogan, wondering what he’d think about Kreischer’s chances against her, Rousey didn’t hold back. “He wouldn’t know,” Rousey said flatly. “He’s not an expert. He’s a fan with an audience. He never fought.”

Rousey Revives Her Feud With Rogan

Next, Kreischer tried to defend Rogan by mentioning the commentator’s taekwondo background, but Rousey laughed it off: “He never fought, that’s not fighting.” Her tone, dripping with irony, reminded fans that “Rowdy” hasn’t exactly been one to bite her tongue, especially when it comes to those she feels turned on her.

Rousey’s jab wasn’t out of nowhere. She’s publicly criticized Rogan and the MMA media before, particularly in April 2024, when she spoke about feeling betrayed after her UFC downfall. “It was really disappointing to see how happily everybody turned on me,” Rousey said at the time on The Chris Cuomo Project. “People like Joe Rogan, who were crying in the ring about the honor of calling my fights, people I considered friends in the media, so quickly turned on me.”

Her frustration, she explained, runs deep: “The MMA media hates me, it’s fine. Not a single person has called me or anything like that… I get that they’re a bunch of a**holes. That’s what I get. I’d rather cleanse myself of all those fake, superficial relationships.”

While Rogan has yet to respond to her latest comments, the exchange with Kreischer has reignited fan debate over Rousey’s complicated relationship with MMA’s media ecosystem and her rumored 2026 return. Whether she’s serious about the billion-dollar price tag or not, Rousey once again proved that her words can still hit just as hard as her right hook.
