At San Siro, Inter Milan were twice pegged back by Lazio in a 2-2 draw that saw Pedro score a brace, including a 90th-minute penalty.
The Serie A title race will go down to the final matchday after both Napoli and Inter Milan dropped points in dramatic fashion on Sunday. Napoli remain in control of their destiny after a goalless draw away to relegation-threatened Parma. Despite dominating large portions of the game, Antonio Conte’s side failed to find a breakthrough. The hosts, battling for survival, gave Napoli a scare with Ange-Yoan Bonny leading their attacking threat. Parma midfielder Simon Sohm also forced a couple of good saves from Alex Meret.
Napoli’s best chance came when Andre-Frank Anguissa’s stunning volley hit the post, while Scott McTominay saw a late free-kick tipped onto the bar by Zion Suzuki. The drama peaked in stoppage time as Napoli were awarded a penalty, only for it to be overturned by VAR due to a foul in the build-up. Meanwhile, Napoli manager Antonio Conte was sent off during the chaotic final minutes. As a result, he will now miss the decisive clash against Cagliari next weekend. Nevertheless, a win in that match will secure Napoli their fourth Serie A crown, regardless of other results.

At San Siro, Inter Milan were twice pegged back by Lazio in a thrilling 2-2 draw that saw substitute Pedro score a brace, including a 90th-minute penalty. Inter led through Yann Bisseck’s first-half strike and Denzel Dumfries’ late goal, but Pedro’s equaliser, awarded after a VAR check for handball against Bisseck, left the home crowd stunned. The result means Inter, now on 78 points, must beat Como on the final day and hope Cagliari can take points off Napoli to retain their Serie A title.
Tensions boiled over in the final minutes, with both managers Simone Inzaghi and Marco Baroni receiving red cards amid heated touchline exchange. The drama didn’t end there, as Marko Arnautovic thought he had snatched a late winner for Inter, only for his stoppage-time goal to be disallowed for offside. The Scudetto will now be decided next weekend, with Napoli just one win away from glory but Inter are still in with a shot if Napoli drop points.
