Jeff Cobb made a surprise appearance in the WWE at Backlash 2025. The newcomer interfered in the Fatal Four Way Match for the United States title and specifically targeted LA Knight during the match in WWE.

Jeff Cobb destroyed LA Knight during the match so that Jacob Fatu could end the match and remain the champion. He thus, have aligned with Solo Sikoa and The New Bloodline and made himself a heel in. However, is this newcomer related to Roman Reigns and his cousins from the Anoa’i Wrestling Family in any way? Let’s have a look and find out.

Jeff Cobb and Roman Reigns Are Not Family

Jeff Cobb is not family of Roman Reigns. He is not even a member of the Anoa’i Wrestling Family. Jeff Cobb is a Filipino from his mother’s side. His mother Elaine’s ancestry comes from the Philippines. However, his mother’s family moved to Guam even before she was born. Guam is known as an U.S. territory island on the Western Pacific Ocean and is located 1,600 miles east of Manila.

Jeff Cobb himself was born in Hawaii in 1982 and resided in Hawaii until his sixth grade as per reports. However, his family came back to Guam to avoid financial difficulties and lives there. Jeff Cobb notably, represented Guam in freestyle wrestling at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens as per their official site. He turned into a pro wrestler in 2009. All these information about Jeff Cobb’s personal life and ethnicity show that he is not related or connected to Roman Reigns and the Anoa’i Wrestling Family.
