WWE Backlash has been developing into an impressive card for the fans to enjoy on May 10, 2025. One of the matches at the event will be a fatal four-way match. Notably, the United States Championship will be on the line in this match.

Jacob Fatu is presently serving in the United States. He won the title at WrestleMania 41 by defeating the former champion, LA Knight. He will now be defending his title against LA Knight and two other wrestlers. But who are these two wrestlers competing for the title? Let’s have a look at them.

LA Knight, Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre Are the Three Contenders to the United States Title

Damian Priest, LA Knight and Drew McIntyre are the three contenders for Jacob Fatu’s United States Championship. La Knight was the original one who demanded a rematch for the title on Friday Night SmackDown on April 25, 2025. However, he was interrupted by Drew McIntyre.

This led SmackDown GM Nick Aldis to set up a contenders match between the two for the title. However, McIntyre won by disqualification due to interference from Damian Priest who attacked him. Both LA Knight, Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest were then attacked by Jacob Fatu (via WWE on YouTube).

LA Knight and Damian Priest finally had a confrontation with each other on May 2, 2025 (via WWE on YouTube).

Their confrontation resulted in a match between the two. However, Damian Priest won the match by disqualification due to Solo Sikoa attacking him. Then Jacob Fatu also joined in the attack and destroyed Damian Priest and LA Knight (via WWE on YouTube). All this drama led to the fatal-four way match between Jacob Fatu, LA Knight, Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre at WWE Backlash 2025.

Who Is Expected To Win the Fatal-Four Way Match at WWE Backlash 2025?

Jacob Fatu will be making his United States titler defense against LA Knight, Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest at WWE Backlash. This match will be taking place on May 10, 2025. However, Jacob “The Samoan Werewolf” Fatu will probably retain the United States title at the match. He just won it at WrestleMania 41 and has proved himself to be an impressive in-ring worker. Moreover, Jacob Fatu retaining the title will be keeping The Bloodline as a significant faction as Solo Sikoa has been a failure as a leader.

This might lead to Jacob Fatu potentially becoming the new leader of The Bloodline and ousting Solo Sikoa from the faction in the future. However, the real winner of the match can only be revealed on May 10, 2025 after the match ends.
