WrestleMania Result: Jacob Fatu Defeats LA Knight, New Title Reign Starts for WWE United States Championship

LA Knight and Jacob Fatu fought their hearts out at WrestleMania.

When it comes to sheer power, no one comes even remotely close to Jacob Fatu. He is like a steel wall in a ring that seems immune to other superstars’ moves. His size and strength, combined with the agility he possesses, make him an anomaly in WWE. Any opponent he fought got the taste of sheer dominance and brutality, and his opponents included giants like Braun Strowman. It was about time that WWE promoted him as a Champion.

Jacob Fatu was not the initial opponent for LA Knight, as Solo Sikoa’s interruption cost the match against Braun Strowman. He, however, didn’t give up and Nick Aldis had to give him another opportunity, this time in a last man standing match against Braun Strowman. Braun Strowman never lost a last man standing match, but there is always a first time. Jacob Fatu defeated Braun Strowman to qualify for WrestleMania against LA Knight.

Jacob Fatu conquered LA Knight to become the New United States Champion

The match between LA Knight and Jacob Fatu was nothing short of awesome. They have been at each other’s crosshairs so much that they have learned each other’s weaknesses and counters. LA Knight tried to dominate the match early, trying a BFT in the match so early that Jacob Fatu easily countered it. Jacob Fatu was able to kick out of some incredible moves from LA Knight that including a Moonsault attempt countered by a BFT.

Jacob Fatu took notice of LA Knight’s injured ribs and delivered a Samoan Drop from the third rope. He followed it up with three Over the Moonsaults. It was finally enough to keep LA Knight down for good. Jacob Fatu won the WWE United States Championship, and the first one to congratulate him was his father. This is an alarm for the WWE locker room, as this title is going to stay on Jacob Fatu’s shoulders for a long time.
