WWE RAW on Netflix: Cody Rhodes floored John Cena after they were part of an intense verbal spat

Cody Rhodes prepared to face John Cena at WrestleMania.

The moment that changed the course of history in WWE is still hyping up the crowd. It has been a month since John Cena sold out to Rock and turned heel on Cody Rhodes. John Cena won the Elimination Chamber but later brutally assaulted Cody Rhodes along with The Rock and Travis Scott.

John Cena entered WWE for the third time after the event between the boos and the “John Cena Sucks” chant. This was the first time that John Cena and Cody Rhodes had a verbal spat. On all prior occasions, John Cena never replied to Cody Rhodes’s verbal Jibes.

This was the last episode of the WWE Europe tour, and John Cena started the Raw tonight. Before he could say anything, Cody Rhodes entered and asked him for the reason for the betrayal. John Cena, in response, called him a mediocre wrestler. Both of them threw countless verbal jibes at one another.

Cody Rhodes and John Cena verbally demeaned each other before their patience gave up

John Called Cody a Nepo Kid who sold gimmicks to pull the crowd and a 16-year-old who tried to copy every wrestler he liked. He also called him for being a people pleasure. John Cena told him, he never left WWE because he has been the benchmark to eliminate mediocrity. John Cena has always served as a benchmark for wrestlers aspiring to join WWE.

Cody didn’t hold back as he called John Cena a wrestler made by Vince McMahon. He also called him for selling out to Rock. He mocked him stating fans never chanted “You can’t wrestle” when he wrestled. Cody Rhodes called him his hero but also a piece of shit. John tried to take a cheap shot but Cody countered and delivered a Cross Rhodes to John Cena and floored the legend.
