WWE Raw Result: Lyra Valkyria defeated Raquel Rodriguez to defend her Women’s Intercontiental Championship on Monday Night Raw

WWE Universe to witness Lyra Valkyria vs Bayley soon.

Lyra Valkyria has been successfully defending her Women’s Intercontinental Championship ever since she won it by defeating Dakota Kai. She successfully defended her title against Dakota Kai and Ivy Nile recently. Raquel Rodriguez on the other hand defeated Bayley with the help of Liv Morgan to become the #1 contender for the IC title. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez have always had a major say in each other’s matches ever since the latter became part of the Judgment Day.

Lyra Valkyria ticked one flaw in her small career and defeated Raquel Rodriguez

Lyra Valkyria defeated Raquel Rodriguez to defend her WWE Intercontinental Championship. She had a weakness against wrestlers with stocky build but not tonight as she not only defeated Raquel but also neutralized the threat of Liv Morgan outside the ring. Raquel Rodriguez dominated Lyra Valkyria most part of the match but it is never easy to keep the Women’s Intercontinental Champion down.

Lyra Valkyria has proven numerous times why she is the champion and she proved herself worthy again. She countered most of Raquel’s moves even after being brutalized during the initial part of the match. She kicked Liv Morgan outside the ring and just when Raquel was about to take advantage of the distraction, she clutched her legs and pinned her to defend her title.

Liv Morgan didn’t take her tag team partner’s defeat kindly and started assaulting Lyra Valkyria with Raquel Rodriguez. Bayley entered the arena to save Lyra Valkyria and drove Judgment Day away. Lyra Valkyria has shown her desire to go against Bayley and they might lock horns against each other soon.
