Best in the World was finally able to conquer Monday Night Messiah in a brutal match at RAW's Netflix Premiere.

The most physical match of the WWE RAW Premiere event that made history across the globe, CM Punk vs Seth Rollins lived up to the hype that it created. These two superstars have a knack for getting the best out of one another whether they are giving a promo or going to war against each other. Their hatred grew exponentially whenever they faced each other while giving promo and brawling against each other.

CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins was worthy of being the main event at the RAW’s Netflix Premiere. The battle of the bests brought the best out of the bests but one of them had to win and it turned out to be “Best in the World” CM Punk. It took every ounce of effort from the “Best in the World” to beat Seth Freakin Rollins.

What it took to keep Seth Freakin Rollins Down?

Seth Freakin Rollins and CM Punk knew each other so well that they were able to perform each other’s finishers with ease. What made this match stand out was the homework they did against each other. The Revolutionary took everything in his power to keep Second City Saint Down from using Punk’s GTS twice to delivering a Pedigree on the announcer’s table and one inside the ring.

Neither of them was ready to give in. The visionary performed a GTS on CM Punk but Punk kicked out. He was dominating CM Punk in the initial phases of the match but Punk found a way to gain dominance again. The match went to near stalemates many times but they both knew it would be a daunting task to pin the other.

CM Punk delivered a stomp to Seth but he was not ready to give in so soon. The Kingslayer gained momentum by delivering a Pedigree to Punk on the announcer’s table followed by one inside the ring but it wasn’t enough to keep him down. Seth delivered a verticle suplex from the third rope and was following it up with a Powerbomb when CM Punk countered it with a GTS.

Punk knew that one GTS would not keep Seth down so he performed another GTS and it was finally enough to defeat the Monday Night Messiah. Both superstars took each other to the brim of their strength so far that Punk only had enough power left to pin.
