WWE Rumor Roundup: Will Goldberg make an appearance on RAW’s Netflix Premiere?

Da Man Goldberg is rumored to make an appearance at RAW's Netflix Premiere to challenge "Ring General" Gunther.

With just a week before WWE Raw goes live on Netflix, rumors are stirring about which legends will feature in the megaevent. Triple H has already stated that this event will be larger than WrestleMania. World Wrestling Entertainment would make every possible attempt to make it huge. Superstars like Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Bianca Belair, and Liv Morgan will feature in the Mega Event.

Goldberg is one legend that could be expected to return at the premiere. Legends like John Cena, Pat McAfee, and Travis Scott have already confirmed their appearance at the RAW’s Netflix Premiere and this is where his retirement tour starts. We can be sure of many other special appearances especially when The Game has announced that this event is going to be bigger than WrestleMania.

What is WWE planning for Goldberg?

Goldberg announced that he would retire in 2025 but not before hunting his last victim. Yes, you guessed it right, Goldberg already confirmed he would go after Gunther. Gunther is a force to reckon with in professional wrestling right now. This dominance made him provoke Da Man who was sitting with his family as a special guest appearance.

The Ring General called Goldberg a one-trick pony while poking fun at the 58-year-old legend. He turned his attention to Goldberg’s son Gage and said “I really hope for you that Bill is a better father than he is a professional wrestler”. He also claimed that he lied to Bret Hart when he called Goldberg, his childhood icon. An agitated Goldberg jumped the barricade to face Gunther and was stopped by the officials. Goldberg would be aching to get his hands on Gunther.

Goldberg was the most dominant star of the Attitude Era. The Ring General’s power brings dominance and his own dominance brings challenges. Gunther insulting Goldberg might be the perfect build-up required to start Goldberg’s Retirement storyline. We saw many legends appearances at WrestleMania 40. It wouldn’t be wrong to expect some special appearances at the Mega Event if WWE wants to make it bigger than WrestleMania.
