The Return of Becky Lynch: Will ‘The Man’ make an appearance on WWE RAW’s Netflix Premiere?

Netflix has just dropped a new trailer that gives a clue about the return of a diva. Becky Lynch has been out of WWE since June 1, 2024, when her contract ended. She won the Women’s World Champion for the seventh time before losing it to an interruption from Dominic Mysterio. The Man was a free agent and was not a part of the RAW’s Netflix trailer released a month ago.

RAW will go live on Netflix on January 6, 2025, and so far three matches have been announced. Seth Rollins to go against CM Punk, Liv Morgan to defend her title against Rhea Ripley, and Roman Reigns taking on Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat. None of these matches feature Becky Lynch, however, she has featured in the New trailer released yesterday.

Trailer also featured Randy Orton who is out of WWE owing to an injury he suffered when Kevin Owens delivered a Piledriver to him. John Cena has also announced that he will be part of the Mega Event. WWE is currently following a five-match pattern in its mega event so we still have two more matches to be announced.

What could be WWE’s plan for The Man?

Becky Lynch has always got the crowd going and they haven’t seen her for six months now. RAW’s Netflix Premiere would be the perfect time for her return. It would be a perfect stage to revive her rivalry with Liv Morgan. Liv never defeated Becky on his own. It was an interruption from Dirty Dom that cost her the title. Dominic Mysterio interrupted for the second time when Liv was defending her title against The Man.

Becky could make an entry to WWE during Liv vs. Rhea. Becky’s interruption could help Rhea Ripley win her title back which she never lost. She won the title from Becky Lynch and then had to forfeit it owing to an injury. It would be interesting to see what WWE has planned for The Man but fans would be eager to get a glimpse of their favourite Diva.
