2024 All-MLB Award winners revealed!
As the awards season intensifies, the All-MLB Team, presented by MGM Rewards, stands out as the only accolade that evaluates an entire season’s performance while celebrating the finest talent across Major League Baseball.
On Thursday night, the sixth annual All-MLB Team was revealed, honoring the top players from the 2024 season. Just like previous years, the selection process was a blend of fan votes (50%) and input from an expert panel (50%).
The honors keep piling up for Shohei Ohtani!

The All-MLB Team is divided into a First and Second Team, each featuring one player per position: catcher, first base, second base, shortstop, third base, and designated hitter. It also includes three outfielders (irrespective of position), five starting pitchers, and two relievers. Voters were instructed to focus solely on regular-season performance when making their choices.
While the highly anticipated BBWAA awards — such as Rookie of the Year, Manager of the Year, Cy Young, and MVP — are set to be announced next week, these All-MLB honorees offer a glimpse of this year’s brightest stars.
Let’s dive into the winners:
Ohtani had an extraordinary year, becoming the first player in MLB history to achieve a 50-50 season — 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases. Limited to hitting after elbow surgery, he led the National League with 54 home runs and 130 RBIs while batting .310 and stealing 59 bases. Ohtani has now claimed this award for four consecutive seasons.
Judge delivered a season for the ages, leading the league with 58 home runs and 144 RBIs. He also topped the majors with an OPS+ of 223, finishing with a stellar .322 batting average. His offensive dominance earned him this prestigious honor.

Ohtani’s season was nothing short of spectacular, as he hit 54 home runs for the Dodgers and stole 59 bases, drawing significant attention for his unmatched two-way play. Beyond these headline-grabbing stats, he also surpassed 400 total bases, showcasing his all-around offensive prowess
Clase was untouchable on the mound, pitching 74 ⅓ innings with an exceptional 0.61 ERA. He issued only nine unintentional walks across the season and previously won this award in 2022.
Helsley claimed this honor for the first time, setting a Cardinals franchise record with 49 saves. He posted an impressive 2.04 ERA over 65 appearances, solidifying his place as one of the league’s top closers.

Crochet transitioned seamlessly to a starter role, pitching 146 innings with a 3.58 ERA. His 35.1% strikeout rate was exceptional for a starter, marking a remarkable season in his new position.
Sale rebounded from years of injuries to deliver one of his best seasons at age 35. He led the majors in ERA+ and FIP, striking out 225 batters, and positioned himself as a favorite for his first Cy Young Award.
