What would Damian Priest's retaliation be after Drew McIntyre's assault on him?
Drew McInyre defeated Seth Rollins to win the Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL, but his happiness was short-lived. Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank on Drew McIntyre, and the latter lost the championship in 5 minutes and 46 seconds. The Scottish Warrior tried to regain his championship twice but failed both times.
Drew McIntyre had a chance to win the 2025 Royal Rumble, but Damian Priest eliminated him. He took another chance at the 2025 Elimination Chamber, but Damian Priest pinned Drew from behind and eliminated him again. Drew McIntyre became the first one to be eliminated from the Elimination Chamber. In frustration, he delivered a Claymore to Damian Priest, giving Logan Paul an advantage, who eliminated the latter.
Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest have been at each other’s throats for quite a while now. Drew McIntyre attacked Damian Priest at the beginning of SmackDown after Elimination Chamber. The latter retaliated later in the day when Drew McIntyre finished his match with Jimmy Uso. Drew Mctyre was present by the ringside on March 14, 2025, during the match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Damian Priest.
Drew McIntyre attacked Damian Priest during the closing moment of the latter’s match, and the match ended in disqualification. The assault on Archer of Infamy didn’t stop there as Shinsuke Nakamura joined forces with the Scottish Warrior and delivered a Kinshasa to him. It was all Drew McIntyre after that who brutally assaulted Damian Priest and delivered a Claymore, followed by a stomp on his head.
The rivalry between Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre has been hyped enough. It would be best if WWE announced their fight to be at the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania. A match between them is inevitable, and WrestleMania XL would be the best occasion to conclude the rivalry that started at WrestleMania XL.
Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre have been hellbent on punishing each other and are almost sure to square off in the ring. The burning questions are when, where, and whether they would wait till WrestleMania to lock horns or if their patience would give up before that.
