Did CM Punk just whisper his favor in the Wiseman's ears?
Seth Rollins and CM Punk squared off for the second time in the squared ring, this time inside a steel cage. It would be an injustice to expect less from these two superstars. They met everyone’s expectations and delivered a performance that was nothing short of incredible. Their most physical match started with a fistfight and had all the moves and counters.
Seth Rollins and CM Punk were not ready to take a defeat. They wanted to deliver the most brutal punishment on the other. CM Punk delivered three Go To Sleep and a Stomp to Seth Rollins, but the latter still kicked out of all the pin attempts made on him. CM Punk, on the other hand, received one Go To Sleep, 2 Stomps, and one Super Stomp.
CM Punk and Seth Rollins were mocking each other by asking them to exit the steel cage. Neither of them was ready to leave the ring even when they had the chance to exit the cage and win the match. CM Punk and Seth Rollins wanted to punish each other so much that they didn’t want to pin their opponent or leave the ring to win the match. They weren’t inside the ring to win the match.
Roman Reigns pulled Seth Rollins out to grant a win to the latter, or else the match would have continued. He then delivered a Superman Punch followed by a Spear and Stomp and floored Seth Rollins. He was going for a Stomp on the Steel Steps, but officials stopped him. He turned his attention to CM Punk and delivered a spear to him inside the ring.
Seth Rollins has had issues with CM Punk and Roman Reigns. CM Punk took advantage of the brawl between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns and eliminated them at the 2025 Royal Rumble. CM Punk was eliminated next when Logan Paul threw him out of the ring. These three had a brawl outside the ring, and Seth Rollins delivered two stomps, one on the floor and the other on the steel steps, to injure Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns has been out of WWE ever since, and he couldn’t take part in the star-studded Elimination Chamber. This was the other reason to attack Seth Rollins. CM Punk and Roman Reigns allied to take down Bloodline 2.0, but it was a one-time thing. Paul Heyman was with CM Punk, and the latter whispered something in his ears, which prompted OTC to spear him. Did CM Punk call in his favor?
