The OG Bloodline won the Men’s WarGames match but the brewing tension between the OTC and ‘The Best in the World’ has hinted towards a massive collision!
The OG Bloodline and CM Punk reigned supreme in the Men’s WarGames match against Solo Sikoa and the new Bloodline. In a match that went on for almost 42 minutes, there were so many ups and downs. But what caught the eye of the WWE universe was the brewing tension between the OTC and ‘The Best in the World.’
During the Men’s WarGames match, it all started when Roman Reigns was set to enter the match. But CM Punk took the opportunity to override the OTC’s authority and rushed to take his place instead. Things escalated when the events unfolded inside the ring.
After sensing the vibe between CM Punk and Roman Reigns, wise man Paul Heyman came out to plead. He requested ‘The Best in the World’ and the ‘Only Tribal Chief’ to fight together, otherwise they will lose.
In an exchange between Solo Sikoa and Reigns, the OTC unintentionally took down CM Punk with a spear when Punk had Fatu on his shoulders for a GTS. Despite the misunderstanding that unfolded, Punk proved to be the ultimate team player.
Bronson Reed had an exhausted Reigns on the table and got to the top of the cage for a Tsunami splash. Punk came to Reigns’ rescue from the disastrous attack after he pulled the OTC away as Reed went through the table. Reigns returned the favor soon with a Superman punch to Jacob Fatu to rescue Punk from an attack.
The match ended as The OG Bloodline decimated Solo Sikoa one by one with their finishers. Reigns sealed the deal with a spear and pinfall. While the team celebrated, the tension between the OTC and ‘The Best in the World’ was evident. Sami Zayn even told Reigns that this win wasn’t possible if it wasn’t for CM Punk.

After the match, as the OG Bloodline and CM Punk made their walk out of the cage, Punk went to greet Paul Heyman. Punk leaned on to the wise man and whispered, “I will come asking when I need that favor.”
Even during the Survivor Series WarGames Post Show, when asked by the media, “What do you make of the meteoric rise of Roman Reigns, Punk didn’t say much.
He just dropped a “No comments” and walked away.
The ‘favor’ that Punk is asking for still remains to be seen. But it surely has something to do with the OTC Roman Reigns!
