WWE SNME: John Cena Defeats R-Truth, No Face Turn For Him Anytime Soon

John Cena took coming back from the heel anytime soon,

John Cena, during his time as a heel, has broken too many hearts, and that includes his die-hard fans. We all know the kid who became famous overnight when John Cena mocked him in his heel promo. One of the most shocking betrayals, however, came when he delivered an Attitude Adjustment to a man who calls him his childhood hero, R-Truth. Why did he deliver an AA to R-Truth, you ask…

R-Truth assisted John Cena in retaining his title at Backlash 2025 by stopping Randy Orton from delivering a Punt Kick to him. Randy Orton delivered an RKO to R-Truth, but the distraction helped John Cena capitalize and win the match. R-Truth came running to congratulate Cena during his interview and telling him that he believed in him even when everyone said, he sucks and cant wrestle.

This angered John Cena, who delivered an AA to R-Truth, sending him through the table. R-Truth, in his interview, said he still believed in his hero and would try to bring him back even if he has to beat him back to his senses.

John Cena Did the Dirty Work Again, Not a Hero Type Anymore

John Cena entered the ring first, and R-Truth followed him wearing a Ron Cena shirt and My Time is Now music. R-Truth has been known to copy his childhood hero for a long time, and we saw the same inside and outside the ring today. His entrance paid homage to John Cena’s earlier days and garnered a tremendous reception from the crowd.

John Cena delivered a Shoulder Tackle and followed it up with a Five-Knuckle Shuffle on R-Truth. He went for an Attitude Adjustment, but R-Truth managed to escape. John Cena then received a Shoulder Tackle from R-Truth, followed by a Five-Knuckle Shuffle. He then delivered an Attitude Adjustment to John Cena, but the latter was able to kick out.

John Cena set up to hit R-Truth with his championship belt, but hesitated after looking the latter in his eyes. He gave the belt to the referee, and just when everyone thought R-Truth was able to bring him back, John Cena delivered a Low Blow to him. He followed it up with an AA and pinned him to win the match. He hit R-Truth with the championship belt after winning the match and left the ring.

There was absolutely NO REASON for this. 😔
