WWE is back with Saturday Night Main Event, and they have booked some big names for the event. The event that is scheduled to take place on June 12, 2025, will feature Goldberg’s retirement match. The event will air live from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre, and Seth Rollins are the other would-be legends to feature at WWE SNME.

WWE fans can stream Saturday Night Main Event live at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT on NBC and Peacock. This would be the 40th edition of SNME, and so far, three matches have been announced for it. So, which WWE superstars are scheduled to collide with each other? Let’s find out…

Gunther(c) vs. Goldberg, WWE Heavyweight Championship Match

Gunther has held a championship around his waist 80% of the time he has been with WWE. He is one of the most dominant champions in WWE, but with great power comes great responsibility. He is known to have a big mouth that has put him in trouble with numerous superstars and legends, and one of them is Goldberg. The most brutal wrestler of the Attitude Era, Goldberg, will wrestle in his last match before permanently retiring from WWE.

It all started at Bad Blood when Gunther not only provoked Goldberg but also insulted him in front of his family. Goldberg attempted to teach Gunther a lesson at that moment, but the officials intervened and prevented him from entering the ring. Recently on Raw, Goldberg confronted Gunther and threw a punch at him for bad-mouthing him for weeks since their match was announced.

Seth Rollins vs. LA Knight

Seth Rollins has had conflicts with many superstars and legends since joining forces with Paul Heyman, and one of them is LA Knight. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed have inflicted too much damage on LA Knight on the orders of Seth Rollins. LA Knight lost at Money in the Bank and failed to qualify for King of the Ring due to Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

LA Knight retaliated and got his hands on Seth Rollins, but the latter managed to escape the first time. LA Knight delivered a BFT to Seth Rollins on the last episode of Monday Night Raw. He won the match against Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo yesterday, but Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed attacked him afterward, intensifying the rivalry with Seth Rollins further.

Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre

Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre have been the two most brutal superstars of WWE. Randy Orton had a great run in the King of the Ring tournament, but lost to Cody Rhodes in the finals, and he has only himself to blame. He flinched for a while while delivering a Punt Kick, and that allowed Cody Rhodes to get back in the match. Cody, on the other hand, didn’t hold back from attacking Randy Orton’s bad back.

Drew McIntyre made his return to WWE and thought it would be a good idea to mock Randy Orton after his recent loss. He taunted Orton, claiming that he had become soft and stating that the legend of Randy Orton was dead. This bluster earned him an RKO from Orton. Later, McIntyre demanded a match against Orton, which was set to take place at SNME. In retaliation, Drew delivered a Claymore to Randy Orton on SmackDown yesterday, setting the stage for their match tonight.

Jimmy Uso vs. Solo Sikoa

Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso, two brothers who turned arch-rivals after the former became the tribal chief forcefully. Solo Sikoa and his bloodline have repeatedly assaulted Jimmy Uso, aiming to make him join their team, but he has been reluctantly denying Solo’s authority. However, these refusals have resulted in one assault after another.

Jimmy Uso also wants to teach a lesson to his younger brother, which is why he joined forces with Jacob Fatu first. They were able to defeat Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo but were then brutalized by Solo Sikoa and his MFTs. Jimmy Uso then joined LA Knight and was able to pin Solo Sikoa yesterday, but LA Knight was then assaulted by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
