WWE SmackDown Result: Tiffany Stratton to defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Candice LeRae on Friday Night SmackDown

Tiffany and Trish got a brutal beating off the hands of their Elimination Chamber opponents.

Tiffany Stratton has had a target on her back ever since she became WWE Women’s Champion. She cashed in her Money in the Bank contract against Nia Jax to become the champion. Nia Jax and Candice LeRae have been chasing her ever since. She defended her WWE Women’s Championship successfully against Nia Jax last week but the latter attacked her after the match.

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus came to the aid of Tiffany but she too was floored by a 2-on-1 assault from Candice LeRae and Nia Jax. Charlotte Flair took the opportunity to announce that she has chosen Tiffany Stratton for WrestleMania Main Event. Trish later revealed to Tiffany that they would go against Candice LeRae and Nia Jax at the Elimination Chamber.

Tiffany Stratton defeated Candice LeRae to successfully defend her WWE Women’s title against Candice LeRae. Tiffany Stratton was dominating the match when Charlotte Flair entered the arena. The distraction was enough for Candice LeRae to gain the momentum. Tiffany Stratton had to battle Candice LeRae inside the ring and Nia Jax outside the ring.

The match went to near stalemate numerous times with no clear winner. Tiffany Stratton delivered an Alabama Slam to Candice LeRae on the ring barricade and followed it up with a Prettiest MoonSault Ever inside the ring to win the match. Candice LeRae and Nia Jax started a 2-on-1 assault on the champion after the match. Trish entered the ring to help Tiffany and handled both Candice and Nia but she also fell prey to the 2-on-1 assault. Nia stacked Trish and Tiffany on each other and delivered an Annihilator to them before leaving the ring.
