WWE SmackDown Result: Rey Fenix made his WWE Debut with a victory over Nathan Frazer

Rey Fenix starts his WWE career with victory, many more to come.

Rey Fenix has been fighting alongside his brother for a long time as Lucha Brother. He had previously competed in All Elite Wrestling, Impact Wrestling, and Ring of Honor before joining Friday Night SmackDown today. He added numerous accolades to his name while competing across the world most famous of which is the Tag Team Championship alongside his brother Penta.

Rey Fenix was announced to join WWE SmackDown last week. His brother Penta already joined WWE on January 6 2025 when Raw made its Netflix debut. Penta has gone undefeated ever since in one-on-one encounters and was only been pinned last week for the first time when his tag team partner Bronn Breaker speared him.

Rey Fenix defeat WWE NXT Tag Team Champion Nathan Frazer in his debut match

Rey Fenix like his brother made a memorable debut when he defeated Nathan Frazer in a hard-fought match. Nathan Frazer didn’t let Fenix score an easy win and kept him guessing the entire match. Both superstars countered each other’s moves efficiently. The match saw numerous pin attempts and near stalemates but neither of them was ready to give in. Both superstars showed incredible moves and kept the crowd engaged.

Nathan Frazer and Rey Fenix took turns to dominate the match but the latter won the back-and-forth fight. Rey Fenix was all fired up like his brother Penta when he acknowledged the crowd post his victory. He was excited to join WWE and stated it was the rebirth of Rey Fenix. It was the moment that he had waited for his entire life. Triple H congratulated him after the match and welcomed him to WWE
