WWE SmackDown is just a few hours away from airing its second episode after Saturday Night Main Event. The event of SNME left more questions than answers when Cody Rhodes made a surprise entry and saved Jey Uso from an assault by John Cena and Logan Paul. Cody Rhodes stated he won’t let John Cena ruin wrestling anymore and challenged him to a tag team match at Money in the Bank.

With Money in the Bank just a week away, preparation for the event is at its peak. WWE has already announced a tag team match between the team of John Cena and Logan Paul vs. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. WWE will feature both a Men’s and a Women’s Six-Man Ladder match for the MITB. Currently, four competitors have qualified for each of the MITB matches, and two qualification matches on SmackDown today will determine the fifth member for both.

Will John Cena Feature at Friday Night SmackDown Tonight?

John Cena is announced to feature on WWE SmackDown tonight along with Cody Rhodes. These two legends being in close proximity to one another will undoubtedly intensify the rivalry between them. Their promo against each other only acts as a catalyst that quickens the pace of actions and reactions. John Cena told Jey Uso at SNME that losing his title to a YouTuber would surely ruin wrestling.

John Cena did everything he could to ensure Jey Uso loses his title to Logan Paul, but Cody Rhodes made a much-awaited entry and saved Jey Uso. Cody Rhodes not only stopped John Cena’s assault on Jey Uso but also delivered a Cross Rhodes to him to prevent him from making any further interruptions. Jey Uso then easily defeated Logan Paul and retained his title. John Cena and Cody Rhodes will be inside the same building for the first time after SNME.

Two MITB Qualification Matches: Who Will Qualify?

The Men’s MITB ladder match already has four qualifiers and will get its fifth member after a triple threat between Jacob Fatu, Andrade, and Carmelo Hayes. The other four superstars who qualified for MITB are Seth Rollins, Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, and Penta. Jacob Fatu would be the obvious choice to win the match, but the ringside presence of The Miz might help Carmelo Hayes qualify for the MITB.

Women’s Money in the Bank also has four qualifiers: Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, Roxanne Perez, and Giulia. Nia Jax, Naomi, and Jade Cargill will face each other today in the Money in the Bank qualification match. Nia Jax might win the match due to the fight between Jade Cargill and Naomi. Neither of them will let the other win, which will give Nia Jax a fair advantage over the two.
