WWE SmackDown: Charlotte Flair vs. Raquel Rodriguez Before They Collide Again in a Tag Team Match at SummerSlam

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss have shown a unique bond on SmackDown. They teamed up to go for the tag team title at Evolution but didn’t succeed. Alexa Bliss earlier today suggested that her idea to team up was a complete bust, so we should part ways. To the surprise of everyone, it seems that Charlotte Flair has grown fond of Alexa Bliss as she informed her that she talked to Adam Pearce and got a tag team title match at SummerSlam.

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair will face Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam. Alexa Bliss seemed surprised at first, but Charlotte Flair asked her to be by her ringside for her match against Raquel Rodriguez, and Alexa agreed to it.

Charlotte Flair Defeats Raquel Rodriguez on Friday Night SmackDown

Charlotte Flair defeated Raquel Rodriguez to establish her dominance on Friday Night SmackDown. Raquel Rodiguez dominated the match due to her sheer size, but the 14-time World Champion has ample in-ring experience to neutralize the size advantage. Both these divas showcased immense strength during the match, where they delivered a Power Slam or German Suplex.

Charlotte Flair was about to close the match with a Figure 8 when Roxanne tried to distract the referee. Charlotte Flair delivered a Big Boot to Roxanne Perez to keep her out of the ring. Alexa Bliss employed the same tactics to distract Raquel Rodriguez, but this time Raquel fell directly into a Superkick delivered by Charlotte Flair. The Queen then flipped her over to achieve the pinfall and claim victory in the match.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss seem to be bonding nicely with each other. They will now join forces to face the current tag team champions, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, for the Women’s Tag Team titles at SummerSlam.
