John Cena Forced to Sign The Contract For a Street Fight Match at SummerSlam on Friday Night SmackDown

John Cena and Cody Rhodes brawled with each other again on SmackDown

John Cena and Cody Rhodes have had a long history between them. From helping Cody Rhodes complete his story at WrestleMania XL to being a villain in his story at WrestleMania 41, John Cena flipped 180 degrees in one year. The former good guy has now been hellbent on ruining wrestling ever since he became the WWE Undisputed Champion, defeating Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania.

John Cena has done whatever it takes to retain the title. Cody Rhodes, on the other hand, won the King of the Ring tournament to finally get his WrestleMania rematch against John Cena. John Cena and Cody Rhodes attended WWE SmackDown to finalize the contract for their match for the WWE Undisputed Championship at SummerSlam.

Cody Rhodes Assaults John Cena into Signing The Contract For SummerSlam Match

John Cena refused to be at SummerSlam and informed Cody Rhodes that the decision had been made due to his workload, and Netflix knows about it. He told Cody that he is doing a movie for Netflix, due to which he won’t be able to participate in this year’s SummerSlam, and gave him an option for a rematch at Clash in Paris or later. John Cena told Cody Rhodes that he is emotionally exhausted.

John Cena told everyone that it was a tough decision, but it’s what’s best for business. He left the ring when Cody Rhodes followed him out of the ring, and a brawl broke out between them. John Cena tried to hit Cody Rhodes with the Undisputed Championship belt, but the latter moved and got hold of the Undisputed Championship belt.

Cody Rhodes didn’t flinch this time and hit John Cena with it and then sent him through the table with a Frog Splash. Days of virtue over victory are over. He then held his hand and signed the contract with his name and announced that it would be a Street Fight match for the championship at SummerSlam.
