WWE SmackDown: Bayley becomes #1 contender for WWE Women’s Championship, to face Tiffany Stratton Next Week!

Bayley won the Fatal FourWay Match on SmackDown to become the #1 contender!

Tiffany Stratton acknowledged the crowd for the first time after she won the WWE Women’s Championship. Stratton cashed in her Money in the Bank against Nia Jax last week when the latter won her match against Naomi. The betrayal didn’t go well with Nia as she interrupted Tiffany’s promo and demanded a match. Bayley entered the ring and reminded Tiffany that it was her interruption due to which Bayley lost the championship in the first place to Nia Jax.

Naomi and Bianca entered the ring. Naomi reminded Tiffany that her interruption caused Naomi the opportunity to win the title when she faced Nia Jax. All of them started brawling inside the ring and Tiffany hit them with the “Prettiest Moonsault Ever”. General Manager Nick Aldis announced that these four superstars of the women’s roster would face each other for a fatal four-way. The winner of the match would become the #1 contender for WWE Women’s Championship.

Bayley defeated all odds to become the #1 contender for the WWE Women’s Championship

The “Irresistible Force” Nia was too much for the three of them. Nia was the biggest threat to them so they teamed up against Nia. Bianca and Naomi tried to deliver a Verticle Suplex to Nia but Nia countered by delivering Vertical Suplex to both of them. Nia showed her strength and countered a Hurricanrana from Naomi with a brutal powerbomb. Numerous pin attempts were made but none was enough to keep Nia down.

Bayley, Bianca, and Naomi were also not ready to give in as they fought hard and kicked out multiple pin attempts. Candice LeRae entered the ringside to support Nia Jax. Bianca Belair set up Bayley for KOD but Candice LeRae held her braid from outside the ring. Belair pulled her braid and it whipped Naomi in her gut.

Belair launched her outside on Naomi and Bayley benefited from the opportunity and delivered Rose Plant to Naomi and won the match. Bayley became the #1 contender and will face Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship on Friday Night SmackDown next week.
