R-Truth or Ron Killing, which one is it?
There were numerous questions that were left unanswered after MITB 2025. Cody Rhodes pinning John Cena, Becky Lynch becoming the new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, and Seth Rollins and Naomi becoming Mr. MITB and Miss MITB were the highlights of the MITB. One thing that stood out in particular, was the return of R-Truth which shocked few WWE wrestlers and gave delight to all the WWE fans was the return of R-Truth.
R-Truth returned and turned the match on its head. John Cena hit Cody Rhodes on his head with the championship belt. John Cena was about to cover him when R-Truth, or should I say Ron-Killing, entered the ring, assaulted John Cena, and hit him on his head with the championship belt.
R-Truth returned and not only cost John Cena the match but left many questions unanswered, like, has WWE renewed his contract? Is he back on WWE fans’ request, or was it part of the storyline? And the biggest of them, whether he returned a fun-loving R-Truth or brutal Ron-Killing.
John Cena vowed to ruin wrestling would have paved its way further had he pinned Cody Rhodes again. R-Truth, however, had different ideas. A subtle hint was already given when John Cena called R-Truth Ron before delivering an Attitude Adjustment. Fans have been calling WWE to bring back R-Truth ever since he posted his exit on Twitter.
Given WWE has already been selling Ron-Killing T-shirts and merchandise, it seems a planned move and part of the storyline. R-Truth is back as Ron-Killing, now given his childhood hero has not turned out how he meant him to be. You know what they say, Never Meet Your Heroes. R-Truth met his hero, and it didn’t end well for him. A fun-loving R-truth has now turned into a brutal Ron Killing.
It would be interesting to see how long R-Truth continues to be in the Ron Killing persona.
