WWE aired its first episode after Money in the Bank live from Phoenix, Arizona. A star-studded event featured superstars like John Cena, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Jey Uso. WWE also started the King and Queen of the Ring fatal four-way round 1 matches tonight. R-Truth and Niki Bella were in the house. After the events of MITB, it would be interesting to hear from R-Truth.
Seth Rollins and Naomi are becoming Mr. MITB and Miss MITB were not the only highlights of MITB. There were other times when Jacob Fatu turned on Solo Sikoa, and R-truth turned on his childhood hero John Cena. This resulted in Cody Rhodes pinning John Cena at MITB.
John Cena started the show and mocked R-Truth, calling him a sideshow comedian whose biggest achievement is pretending to be John Cena. He mocked the crowd for wasting their energy in saving R-Truth. He counted his dates, stated he was halfway down his retirement tour with only 19 dates remaining, and asked the crowd to raise their voices to send him competition as he had already beaten their best, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton.
CM Punk entered and told John Cena what he was doing was wrong. He told John Cena that the Undisputed Championship corrupted him, and he would take it from him. He would become a monster to strip away the Undisputed championship from John’s waist. He asked for a match tonight, and John Cena accepted for a match, but a match this big would need a big stage.
John Cena accepted the challenge and said okay to a match at Night of Champions. Seth Rollins entered and showed his MITB Briefcase, signing that he could cash in anytime, anywhere. WWE officials confirm the match for Night of Champions at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

AJ Styles and Chad Gable fought tonight, and while Chad Gable was all banged up owing to his match at the World’s Collide and MITB, if you think Chad Gable is El Grande Americano. Chad Gable dominated the match initially, and the ringside presence of the American Made helped his cause. Chad Gable delivered a German Suplex and followed by a Head Butt.
Creed Brothers saved Chad Gable, and AJ Styles had to face not one but three people in and out of the ring. AJ Styles took out Creed Brothers outside the ring and was setting up for a Phenomenal Forearm when Chad Gable held him in a Calf Crusher. AJ Styles countered it with a Styles Clash to win the match and get his revenge.

Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez, Kairi Sane, and Rhea Ripley competed in a Fatal Four Way match tonight to qualify for the Night of Champions. Kairi Sane dominated the match initially as Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez joined forces. Roxanne Perez was seen helping Liv Morgan each time she was about to lose. Roxanne and Liv Morgan’s team started dominating, but Kairi Sane cancelled out their dominance, establishing hers.
Numerous pinfall attempts and moves that made the crowd go “This is Awesome”. Rhea Ripley started gaining momentum and dropped all three women single-handedly. Liv went for an Oblivion, but Rhea countered and delivered a Riptide. She went to cover Liv, but Raquel Rodriguez pulled her out of the ring. Kairi Sane delivered an Insane Elbow to Liv Morgan and covered her, but Roxanne covered Kairi Sane from behind and won the match.

Bayley addressed the crowd about Lyra Valkyria attacking her after their match. She stated that Lyra Valkyria was a sour loser and injured her hand while raising it, and then attacked her. She asked Lyra Valkyria to come out and apologize to her, and while Lyra Valkyria came out, it was Bayley who stole the show. She attacked Becky from behind, and the latter had to run for her life to save herself from a 2-on-1 assault.
Don’t let anybody tell you that you don’t matter and your voice is unheard, were the first words of R-Truth. He acknowledged the crowd and stated that he was back because of them. He told the crowd he is back as R-Truth for them, but as Ron Killings for those who did wrong to him. Claiming R-Truth can be too funny, too nice, and too forgiving, he stated that for those who think he is a lie and a sideshow act, and a gimmick, he is Ron Killings.
He cut his hair and claimed the Truth had set him Free, He said, “I am the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.”
Sami Zayn, Penta, Bron Breakker, and Dominic Mysterio competed inside the square ring to qualify ahead in the King of the Ring tournament. Seth Rollins motivated Bron Breakker before his match, and it proved a boon as he took out all three competitors and dominated them. All three had to join forces to keep him out. Sami Zayn dominated for a brief moment until Bron Breakker rose and started gaining momentum.
The brutal match showcased some incredible moves, and it looked like Bron Breakker would win the match when he landed a spear to Penta outside the ring. LA Knight delivered a BFT outside the ring to Bron Breakker and got his revenge for MITB. Sami Zayn delivered an Exploder followed by a Helluva Kick to Dominic Mysterio to win the match and qualify for the semi-finals for King of the Ring.

Nikki Bella was in the ring, congratulating and heaping praises on the current women’s division. She claimed there is so much talent in the women’s locker room and named some of the best like Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, and Bianca Belair. She also named new members like Stephanie Vaquer, Roxanne Perez, and Giulia. Liv Morgan felt insulted that she didn’t take her name and came running to confront Nikki.
Liv Morgan claimed Nikki didn’t take his name because she is jealous of her. Nikki took a personal shot, stating she is angry with Roxanne Perez, who took her title shot and her man. Liv Morgan called Nikki a social media diva, and while the latter was entering the ring again to confront her, she delivered an Oblivion to her.

Jey Uso and Gunther fought tonight for the WWE heavyweight Championship, and competing day in and day out cost Jey Uso his title. He took a brutal beating till MITB, and it was apparent that he hadn’t fully recovered. He delivered a Uso Splash and immediately held his midsection in pain. Gunther saw the opportunity and started targeting his midsection. He tore his shirt, and his heavily taped midsection revealed that his ribs are injured.
Gunther took every opportunity to hurt his ribs. He dominated the match after that, and whenever Jey tried to gain momentum, his ribs gave up. Any move he pulled against Gunther took a toll on his ribs. His ribs slowed him down, and it helped Gunther a great deal. Gunther again started targeting his ribs, but Jey delivered a Spear and followed it up with a Uso Splash, but Gunther kicked out.
Jey Kicked out of a Powerbomb despite the injured midsection. He then delivered a Spear to Jey Uso, but the latter kicked out again. Jey delivered a second Spear and tried to deliver a Uso Splash, but Gunther dodged, and Jey hit the floor, injuring his already hurt ribs more. Gunther applied a Sleeper hold on Jey Uso, and the latter tried to fight back, but a human body has limitations, and so does our former champion.
