WWE Raw: Five-Man Gauntlet Match, #1 Contendership For Heavyweight Championship Match Result

The OTC Roman Reigns returns to save the day again.

Five Men fought tonight in a Gauntlet match to decide the #1 contender for the WWE Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam. CM Punk, Jey Uso, Bron Breakker, Penta, and LA Knight were the five superstars who participated in the Gauntlet match to decide who would face Gunther at SummerSlam 2025.

Bron Breakker was the first one to enter the Gauntlet match, followed by Penta. Bron Breakker and Penta fought an intense battle. The battle between the brutal strength of Bron Breakker and the gravity-defying maneuver took a turn to entertain the crowd. Penta dominated the match until he received a Springboard Spear from Bron Breakker. Bron Breakker eliminated Penta to enter the second round.

Bron Breakker Eliminates Penta, LA Knight, and Jey Uso

Bron Breakker had to face LA Knight first, who dominated an exhausted Bron Breakker. He tried to attack Bron Breakker’s arm and succeeded until Bron Breakker found out about the injured midsection of LA Knight. He continuously assaulted LA Knight’s midsection until they were too vulnerable to handle a Spear and then delivered a Spear. He pinned LA Knight and qualified for the third round.

Jey Uso entered the ring and dominated Bron Breakker, but started celebrating with the crowd in between, giving Bron Breakker the necessary time to recuperate. Bron Breakker then started gaining momentum until he set up for the brutal Spear. Jey Uso delivered two Superkicks and a Spear, but it ended in a nearfall. He set up for a Uso Splash, but Bronson Reed pushed him, and Bron Breakker delivered a Spear to win the match.

CM Punk Wins the Gauntlet Match, All Set to Face Gunther at SummerSlam

Bron Breakker entered the final round to face the Best in the World, CM Punk. The veteran knew how to take advantage of a drained Bron Breakker. He dominated him initially, but you can only dominate Raw power for so long. Bron Breakker started gaining momentum again. It was amazing to see the durability of a future legend.

CM Punk would have lost this match owing to a continuous interruption from Bronson Reed and no disqualification rules. Bronson Reed set up for a Tsunami when Jey Uso entered and took him down. CM Punk countered a Spear attempt with a kick and delivered a GTS to Bron Breakker. He pinned Bronson Reed to win the Gauntlet match. He will now face Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.

Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed assault CM Punk and Jey Uso, Roman Reigns to the Rescue

Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker started a vicious assault on already drained CM Punk and Jey Uso. Bronson Reed piled up Jey Uso over CM Punk and set up for Tsunami until the OTC arrives. The reception was so loud that it blew the roof off the place. He delivered a Superman Punch to both Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. He then started an assault on Bron Breakker, delivered a Samoan Drop to Bronson Reed, and Speared him out of the ring.

It was a nice ending to see Roman Reigns shake hands with Jey Uso and the three big names of WWE inside the ring together against Paul Heyman and his crew.
