WWE Raw: Announced Matches and Match Card, Sami Zayn vs. Rusev, Naomi vs. Iyo Sky, and more, Preview and Prediction

After the successful conclusion of the first two-day SummerSlam, WWE is back with its second Monday Night Raw. The storylines that started and remained inconclusive at SummerSlam will move forward on their way to Clash in Paris. While only two matches have been announced so far, WWE Clash in Paris, we might see a few more matches getting announced in upcoming episodes of WWE.

WWE will air live from Center Videotron, Quebec City, QC, Canada at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT/ 7 pm CT on Netflix. Three matches have been announced so far for Raw, one of which will decide the opponent for Stephanie Vaquer at Clash in Paris. Let’s dive deep into the match preview for Monday Night Raw.

Becky Lynch vs. Maxxine Dupri

Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella had a heated confrontation last week that became personal real quick. Nikki Bella poked fun at Becky Lynch and her spouse, Seth Rollins. Becky also fired back, harshly referencing Nikki Bella’s former partner, John Cena. Becky Lynch punched Nikki Bella and left the ring.

Natalya confronted Becky Lynch backstage for disrespecting the Hall of Famer, Nikki Bella. Becky Lynch retaliated with a challenge for a match, but not against her. She challenged her mentee, Maxxine Dupri, for a match. These two will now face each other on Monday Night Raw.

Prediction: Becky Lynch is speculated to win the match, but Nikki Bella would punch Becky Lynch to get her revenge, setting up a match between them for Clash in Paris.

Sami Zayn vs. Rusev

Sheamus and Rusev have been at each other’s throats for a long time now. While Rusev won the first match of this rivalry, Sheamus won the second match. The third match between the two ended in disqualification, but that didn’t stop their brawl that spilled outside the ring and went backstage. Sami Zayn tried to intervene, but Rusev attacked Sami Zayn, setting up a match between them.

Prediction: The match is speculated to end in disqualification owing to an interruption from Sheamus. This will set up another match between Rusev and Sheamus, this time at a bigger stage.

Naomi(c) vs. Iyo Sky, Women’s World Championship Match

Naomi stunned the world when she cashed in her MITB contract during a match between Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky at WWE Evolution and became the new Women’s World Champion. These three women faced each other again at WWE SummerSlam, where Naomi was able to retain her Women’s World title for the first time.

Naomi will defend her title again, this time in a singles match against Iyo Sky on Monday Night Raw. The winner of the match will defend her Women’s World title against Stephanie Vaquer at Clash in Paris.

Prediction: Naomi is speculated to defend her title and face Stephanie Vaquer at Clash in Paris.
