Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul Destroys Cody Rhodes and John Cena on Friday Night SmackDown

Not long ago, John Cena turned face again, and it was the happiest moment of WWE fans’ lives this year. Turning face, however, cost him the title at SummerSlam to Cody Rhodes and made him vulnerable enough to be F5ed by Brock Lesnar. John Cena was addressing the crowd when Logan Paul interrupted him. He asked John Cena for a match at Clash in Paris.

Drew McIntyre attacked John Cena from behind and started a 2-on-1 assault on him with Logan Paul before he could agree to a match. Out came Cody Rhodes to save his hero and drove Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre away from the ring with the help of John Cena. John Cena announced a tag team match between the team of Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul vs him and Cody Rhodes.

Drew McIntyre Destroys Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul Low Blows John Cena

John Cena and Cody Rhodes were bossing the proceedings, and it seemed it would be a cake walk for them to win the match. Both Cody Rhodes and John Cena showed great chemistry between them and dominated the match whenever they were getting tagged in from one another. There were a few hiccups, like when Drew McIntyre delivered a Glasgow kiss to Cody Rhodes, but it wasn’t enough to keep him down for good.

The major turning point in the match came when John Cena delivered an Attitude Adjustment to Logan Paul, but Drew McIntyre broke the pin attempt. Cody Rhodes punished him outside the ring, and John Cena went for a kill shot, but Logan Paul delivered a Low Blow to John Cena. The match ended in DQ, and John Cena and Logan Paul went backstage brawling with each other.

Drew McIntyre used the WWE Championship belt and hit Cody Rhodes on his head to floor him outside. He then delivered a Claymore when Cody’s head was adjacent to the announce desk table, which shattered upon impact. Cody was sent through the wooden table with the Claymore to close SmackDown.
