WWE MITB: Becky Lynch Defeats Lyra Valkyria, New Title Reign Begins

Becky Lynch finally conquer Lyra Valkyria inside the square ring..

Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch have been at each other’s throats ever since Raw after WrestleMania 2025. The brief history between them filled them with an age’s worth of hate. Lyra Valkyria was undefeated against Becky Lynch until now. With Becky’s victory, Lyra Valkyria’s title reign of 143 days ended, and Becky’s WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship reign starts.

This victory tips the scale ever so slightly towards Becky Lynch as the score now shows 2-1 between them. The rivalry between these two divas is, however, far from over, and we might see them colliding with each other very soon. This match just added another chapter to their rivalry.

Becky Lynch Wins, Humiliated Lyra Valkyria Retaliates

Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria fought to the last bit left in their body. Lyra Valkyria dominated the match initially and kept Becky Lynch out of her A game. Becky Lynch was quick to get on her feet, but Lyra Valkyria was standing right there to put her down again. Becky Lynch started dominating the match in the later part of the match, and despite trying everything in her arsenal, couldn’t keep her down.

Becky delivered two Bexploders, two Man Handleslams, one inside the ring and one outside, and a Super Man Handleslam from the third rope. All of this was still not able to keep Lyra Valkyria down. A series of pin attempts started toward the end of the match, where Becky pinned Lyra Valkyria by grabbing the hold of her shorts.

Becky becomes the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, and as part of the bet, Becky Lynch asked her to raise her hand. Lyra had to do it, and while she was leaving the ring, Becky called her back and asked her to raise her hand in all four directions, and the former obliged. Becky then asked her to wrap the belt around her waist. Lyra did that, but then unleashed a German Suplex followed by Night Wing on her before leaving the ring.
