Triple H brings back WWE Hardcore Championship after 8120 days, gifts the title to rapper Travis Scott

A long wait for the WWE Hardcore Championship is over

The recently concluded WWE RAW segment bought numerous surprises. Triple H after a long wait of 8120 days bought the WWE Hardcore Championship and gifted it to ‘Cactus Jack’ Travis Scott. The 33-year old megastar was awarded the Hardcore Championship as Triple-H named him “the new king of Hardcore.”

The title was last owned by the wrestling legend Tommy Dream till August 26, 2002. However, he lost it to Rob Van Dam in a title unification match unifying the Hardcore Championship with the Intercontinental Championship title. The Hardcore Championship made his way back to WWE after a wait of 22 years when Triple H reintroduced the belt.

Who introduced WWE Hardcore Championship?

Introduced by WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon, WWE Hardcore Championship is the most unique championship in WWE. It is defended with the 24/7 rule, a rule where a challenger can challenge the title holder anytime, provided a referee is present. The first winner of the Hardcore Championship was Mankind Mick Foley. Over the time, many superstar like Big show, Kane, Big Boss Man and numerous other hold this title around their waist.

Triple H recently posted on X (twitter) that Monday Night RAW will make it’s Netflix debut on January ,6, 2025. The Game made an announcement that the legendary rapper Travis Scott would be the special guest.

Will WWE be on Netflix?

WWE will make its Netflix debut on January 6, 2025 at the Intuit Dome, California. Legendary wrestler John Cena’s retirement tour will also begin on January 6, 2025. The legend Cactus Jack will be the special guest for the premiere. The Hardcore Championship belt is custom-made for someone as popular as Cactus Jack.

He has also received a luchador mask and a custom belt by WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, which he donned during his appearance at the Fanatics Fest in NYC.
