WWE Evolution: Jacy Jayne Retains Her Title With The Help of Blake Monroe and Fatal Influence

Jordynne Grace was too close to the title yet end up on the losing side.

Jacy Jayne proved that she is the one running the NXT women’s division by transpiring what turned out to be the biggest betrayal of NXT. Jordynne Grace asked Blake Monroe to be at her corner during her title match, but it backfired. Blake Monroe turned heel on her and joined Fatal Influence. With this, Jordynne Grace loses yet another NXT Women’s Championship opportunity.

Jordynne Grace was cruising towards the victory when Blake Monroe hit her in her back with the NXT Championship, and all Jacy Jayne had to do was to pin her. This came out as a shock to the entire WWE Universe, as Jordynne Grace was the fan favorite to win the Championship.

Jacy Jayne Runs The NXT Women’s Division and She Proves It One Again

Jacy Jayne’s title reign started when she defeated Stephanie Vaquer with the help of Fatal Influence. She has retained her title ever since, and she did it yet again, adding another member to her Fatal Influence. Jordynne Grace, on the other hand, won the Evolution Eliminator tournament, defeating Jaida Parker, Izzi Dame, and Lash Legend in a Fatal Four-way to become the #1 contender for the NXT Women’s Championship match at Evolution.

Jacy Jayne and Jordynne Grace fought in a brutal match where momentum shifted from one opponent to the other like a Pendulum. Jacy Jayne was the first one to draw blood, and while Jordynne Grace has an answer to whatever she threw at her, there was one thing she didn’t prepare for. It was the betrayal by her own friend, Blake Monroe. This starts a fresh rivalry between her and Blake Monroe.
