Lyra Valkyria all set to face her mentor at WWE Backlash

Becky Lynch returned to WWE at WrestleMania 41 as a boon for Lyra Valkyria, who won the tag team gauntlet match with Bayley against five tag teams. Bayley, however, was attacked one day before her match at WrestleMania. Lyra Valkyria won the match with Becky Lynch against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to win the Women’s Tag Team title. Little did she know that her current partner was the one who attacked Bayley.

Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan remained WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions for one day only and lost their title to former champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. As if losing titles was not bad enough for Lyra Valkyria, her mentor, Becky Lynch turned on her, beating her brutally after the match and delivering three Man Handle Slams.

Becky Lynch acknowledged the crowd and told everyone she was the one to attack Bayley before WrestleMania. She was interrupted by Lyra Valkyria, who asked her for a fight, but the latter refused. Lyra Valkyria then put her title on the line and asked her for a match at Backlash. The Man agreed to a match and will fight the Women’s Intercontinental Champion for her title.

Bayley to return and cost Becky Lynch the match at 2025 Backlash

Becky Lynch attacked Bayley and told the WWE Universe that Bayley has done the same many times before and has never apologized to her. As a veteran, Becky Lynch might have the upper hand over Lyra Valkyria at Backlash, but attacking Bayley has increased her enemy count. Bayley might return to help Lyra Valkyria during her match.

Becky might try to cheat her way to victory, but Bayley’s assistance could cost her the match. This will set up a rivalry between Bayley and Becky Lynch for future events.
