Minnesota Lynx would look to extend their winning run in home-court matchup.
Last season’s runner-up, Minnesota Lynx will host Phoenix Mercury in Tuesday’s WNBA showdown. It will be a top of the table clash in the Western Conference. Lynx are unbeaten in the regular season and the Mercury have gone 5-2 in the first seven games.
Minnesota followed the defending champions in the regular season and made a 7-0 start to the 2025 season. Lynx overcame Valkyries 86-75 to secure their seventh straight victory. Minnesota is replicating the 2017 heroics when they had a 6-0 start and later, won the championship. This is the fifth time when Lynx won six or more games in first seven regular-season games. It has been a top-class start for them, and they would look to extend it on Tuesday.

Phoenix is also on a winning ride and dropped just two games in first seven games. Out of two defeats, one came against the Lynx when they suffered a 74-71 defeat on home court. In previous game, they edged out the Sparks 85-81 to reach second in the West and for the first time, their all five starters recorded in double figures this season. Mercury would aim to avenge the loss in their only third road matchup of the season.
