In the first-round playoffs series between the Las Vegas Aces and the Seattle Storm, action will now move to the Climate Pledge Arena for Game 2.
The series opener had Las Vegas secure an easy 102-77 win over Seattle to gain a 1-0 lead. Owing to their fiery offensive prowess, the Aces maintained a thorough lead over their rivals, and added a postseason victory to their overall record.
The Storm, seeded seventh in the standings, trailed the opening half by 20 points. Despite their multiple attempts to make a comeback in the second half, the Storm didn’t hold any chance in front of the four-time champions, and had to face an embarrassing loss.
The Aces are now on a historic 17-game winning streak, and just a win away from equaling the Los Angeles Sparks’ longest winning streak record.

Smith grabbed 9.0 rebounds per game this regular season. In the series opener against the Storm, she had nine rebounds. In the upcoming game, we can expect Smith to perform on the same lines.

Skylar Diggins: Assists
Leading the Storm in assists at an average of 6.0 APG during the regular season, Diggins dished out two assists in the series opener. In the last five games, she touched the six apg mark four times, and even crossed it once. I expect her to contribute the same on Tuesday.
