Named Ohio State’s starter by coach Ryan Day, Howard set school records with 73.1% completion rate, and led the Buckeyes to a 2025 College Football Playoff National Championship, earning offensive MVP honors. His poise, dual-threat ability, and resilience makes him a standout NFL draft prospect. The Buckeyes’ QB threw for 4010 passing yards, 35 passing touchdowns, 226 rushing yards, and 7 rushing touchdowns. Howard is quite obviously one of the best prospects coming into the draft, and he’s also filled with confidence as he previously warned all the NFL teams saying “draft me, or you’ll regret it.”

Howard is a physically talent quarterback with dual-threat ability. He’s known for his, processing ability, and his size. PFF gave Howard a 50.9 pressure grade, which ranks 27th out of the 56 total draft eligible quarterbacks. While he may not be the best quarterback when it comes to accuracy, or his arm-strength, he can certainly improve his processing ability even further to excel in the NFL. Howard recently stated that everyone has overlooked him his entire career, and thus he’s going to prove all the doubters wrong.
Howard is projected to be a second or a third-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft, which is just a week away. However, according to Howard himself, he believes that he’s the best quarterback in the 2025 draft class saying, “I believe I’m the best quarterback in the class.”

Howard finished his college career with a total of 9796 passing yards, 63.8% pass completion rate, 83 passing touchdown, 1147 rushing yards, and 26 rushing touchdowns. While he may not be a 1st rounder, the confidence that he has is extremely rare and we believe that any team would do well adding a player like Howard to their roster.

mma I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
