Ashton Jeanty Is Extremely Confident About the Impact He Can Create for an NFL Team

Ashton Jeanty, Boise State’s running back, has solidified himself as one of the top prospects for the 2025 NFL draft. The 5-foot-9, 220 pound RB from Jacksonville, Florida, dominated college football rushing for 2601 yards, and 29 touchdowns in 2024, and finished second in the race for the Heisman Trophy in 2024, and the Doak Walker award (handed out to the top running back in college football). With elite contact balance, explosive speed, a knack for breaking tackles, and of course his monstrous strength and build, Jeanty and Boise State finished a combined 30-12 during his career.

In his final season with the Broncos, he led them to the 2024 College Football Playoff as the third seed, which received them an automatic bid as the Mountain West Champions. His historic season in 2024 cemented his status as a potential first-round pick with game-changing NFL potential. Jeanty is projected to be a first-round pick, and there are reports stating that he could even be a top 10 pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

Ashton Jeanty Is Ready To Make an Impact in the NFL

Recently, Ashton Jeanty displayed his confidence and shared a strong message for the team that will draft him in the 2025 NFL draft. Jeanty said “I’m coming to your franchise to do what Saquon (Barkley) and the Eagles just did.”

Saquon Barkley is arguably the best running back in the NFL currently, who helped the Philadelphia Eagles win the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs. Barkley had a season for the ages last season, rushing for 2005 yards, 345 rushing attempts, and 13 rushing touchdowns. He was also awarded the 2024 Offensive Player of the Year honors, and helped the Eagles win the championship in his very first season.

While Barkley’s shoes is a hard one to fill, we believe that Jeanty is one of the best running back talents we’ve seen in a while. And his confidence about himself just might be true.
