Who Will Drive for Haas in 2025? Haas F1 Team Starting Drivers Line-Up 2025 F1 Season

Rohan Singh

Haas F1 team is undergoing significant changes and their driver lineup for 2025 signifiess these new changes.

The Haas Formula 1 team were able to consistently improve their standings in the 2024 season. The team removed Guenther Steiner from his role early on and introduced Ayao Komatsu as a replacement. They were also able to secure help from Toyota Gazoo Racing for developing their cars as a part of technical allegiance. Although Haas still sources their engines from Scuderia Ferrari, TGR will provide manufacturing and technical services to the team.

Hulkenberg’s addition to the Haas Formula 1 team proved immensely beneficial to the team. They were able to secure points in the majority of the races. However, Haas had to face many issues due to Kevin Magnussen’s erratic driving throughout the 2024 season. He faced several penalties. Magnussen managed to score 12 penalty points on his driver license in 12 months leading to a one race ban. However, the ban did not really affect Haas as their replacement driver managed to score some crucial points for the team.

Haas Driver Lineup for 2025

Haas Formula 1 is among the few teams who have completely refreshed their driver lineup for the 2025 Formula 1 season. Haas has chosen Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman to start the Formula 1 season for them. The last time Haas let rookies drive their cars, it was a disaster.

Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin took away a lot of budget from Haas in repairing their cars. Their frequent crashes relegated Haas to the back of the grid permanently. It was also the death blow to Mick Schumacher’s initial stint in Formula 1.

However, Haas should stay content with Ollie Bearman considering his performance in clutch situations for both Ferrari and Haas. Bearman was able to score points for both teams as a replacement driver. He will be put under the tutelage of Esteban Ocon. Ocon has the experience of winning podiums and has a race win under his belt. He is undoubtedly going to lead the charge for Haas. The duo will have to coordinate together in order to pull Haas’s Formula 1 operations in a positive direction.

Haas will have to buckle-up for the 2026 season as they will face intense competition from another American team. The privilege Haas enjoyed from sponsors as the sole American team on Formula 1 grid might get cut short due to Cadillac’s arrival. As such, Haas needs to be competitive enough to at least challenge the midfield.
