The 2024 Heisman runner-up, Ashton Jeanty, was selected in the 2025 NFL draft with the 6th overall pick by the Las Vegas Raiders. Jeanty is widely regarded as one of the best running back prospects since 2024 Pro Bowler Bijan Robinson. Further, CBS Sports ranked him as the No. 1 running back and the 11th overall prospect in the class. He also received a 7.15 prospect grade from the NFL, classifying him as “Pro Bowl talent.”

The Boise State Broncos’ running back won multiple All-American honors and the Maxwell and Doak Walker Awards. He appeared in 40 games for the Broncos over three seasons, totaling 750 carries for 4,769 running yards and 50 TDs, as well as 80 receptions for 862 receiving yards and six TDs. Last season, Jeanty led the NCAA with 2,601 running yards, which was just 28 yards short of the 1988 NCAA record set by Pro Football Hall of Famer Barry Sanders.
