Alex Condon, the Florida Gators forward, is having a breakthrough sophomore season. The 20-year-old, averaging at 10.5 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists, played a crucial role to guide the side to the 2025 NCAA Championship game, where they will lock horns with the Houston Cougars to win the National Championship title. Condon is leading the Gators in rebounds and blocks with an average of 7.6 and 1.4 per game.

Not only this, but he is also the fourth-highest scorer for the side with an average of 10.5 points and 2.3 assists in 36 games he played for the team. In his freshman season with the Gators, Condon averaged 7.7 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. He received SEC All-Freshman recognition for having a memorable freshman season.

Not only this, but he was also the leading freshman in the SEC with his rebounding average as well as 45 blocks. The 20-year-old scripted history by becoming the first player in Gators’ history to debut in the NCAA Tournament.

In his second season, Condon was recognized as the SEC Player of the week thrice as he helped the Gators secure wins over both Auburn and Alabama. He also received the Third-Team All-SEC honors at the end of the season.

Alex Condon was a multi-sport athlete and played games like Australian Football, cricket and water polo. It comes from the fact that he comes from a family of athletes.
