What Time Do Argentina Play Today? Argentina World Cup Qualifiers Fixture Today, Argentina Match Start Time and TV Channel

Know the Kick-Off Time, TV Channel, and How To Watch the World Cup Qualifiers Clash – Uruguay vs Argentina Live.

Argentina will begin their two-game March fixtures with an away clash against Uruguay. Sitting comfortably at the top of the CONMEBOL rankings with 25 points, they are leading second-placed Brazil by four points. Now, they can’t afford to slip up against Uruguay considering they have an extremely crucial match against Brazil in their next game.

Argentina have secured three consecutive home wins without conceding any goals. However, their current away form is a matter of concern. They haven’t won any of their last three qualifiers away games, so they will look to improve on that and win this fixture.

However, that could be tough to achieve considering a number of key player absences, especially the absence of captain Lionel Messi because of injury. Coach Lionel Scaloni and his boys will have give it all if they want to tighten their grip at the top of the standings before the game against Brazil.

Who are Argentina playing today?

Argentina will face Uruguay, who are sitting in fourth place in the CONMEBOL standings, five points behind the leaders. Argentina have historically dominated this fixture. However, they lost to Uruguay in their last meeting back in November 2023.

Uruguay defeated Las Albicelestes by a 2-0 margin which marked their very first win over them since 2013. Even so, Argentina still have the records in their favour with three wins out of their last four against La Celeste. Whereas, Uruguay, led by Marcelo Bielsa, are pushing for automatic qualification.

Even though they had a strong start to their campaign, Uruguay have struggled for consistency so far. They’ve won only one out of their last six qualifiers. However, they’re still in a strong position in the table, seven points clear of seventh-placed Bolivia.
