What Draft Picks Do the Philadelphia Eagles Have in 2025? All Philadelphia Eagles 2025 NFL Draft Picks per Round

Can the Eagles pull off yet another draft miracle?

The defending Super Bowl Champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, were a strong unit on both sides of the ball last season. While the core of the players all remained intact, one of the biggest pills to swallow was the retirement of future Hall of Fame center Jason Kelce. Moving on from Kelce was supposed to take time, and it was especially supposed to be tougher to run the ‘Tush Push’, yet everything seemed to fall in place from the start.

The Eagles, who were dominating in 2023, suffered a huge dip in form, more so on defense, leading to an early exit from the playoffs. Without the burden of expectations on their shoulders for the 2024 season, the Eagles flew under the radar, and by the time anyone was paying any attention, they had one of the best records in the league.

The addition of Vic Fangio as the defensive coordinator and another strong draft in which they drafted cornerbacks in both rounds 1 and 2 proved to be a masterstroke. Moreover, the offense, which already boasted the likes of Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, and DeVonta Smith, was lifted to another level with the signing of Saquon Barkley in the backfield.

Barkley ran for a career-best 2,000-plus yards and made significant contributions along the way. Philadelphia still has a strong and young roster that is more than capable of running it back this year.

What Are the Eagles’ Draft Picks in 2025?

The Philadelphia Eagles will have eight picks in the 2025 NFL draft. They will be drafting at least once in all of the first five rounds, but they do not have any selections to make in the final two rounds. Round five will be quite busy as the Eagles will be selecting four times in all. Being the Super Bowl Champions, Philadelphia’s first-round draft pick comes at the end at number 32 overall.

Positional Needs for the Eagles

For the Eagles, their biggest positional need is the edge. They have already lost defensive ends Josh Sweat to the Cardinals and Brandon Graham, who announced his retirement just last month. Those are two big holes that need to be filled. Philly’s pass rush was the dominating factor in their Super Bowl win, so maintaining that will be pivotal.

Apart from that, the Eagles do not have any glaring needs, but they can make use of this draft to add to their depth at positions such as offensive line, corner, and safety. The Eagles need to eventually figure out a replacement for Lane Johnson at offensive tackle.

With the departures of safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson and cornerback Darius Slay Jr., the Eagles need to add depth at both positions. On offense, the Eagles don’t have any pressing needs, but adding a tight end would make sense.

I am a content writer for the NFL team, and joined The Playoffs after working with Sportskeeda and NFL Analysis as an NFL writer. After starting my professional career as a French-to-English translator, working as a content writer is a new adventure for me. I started out in the sports media field for two main reasons: my love for sports in general, especially the NFL, NBA, and Tennis, as well as my passion for writing. The best part of this job is that I get to write a variety of pieces with the freedom to explore content from various angles. It also enables me to stay up to date with the sporting world, which otherwise can be difficult to do in the day-to-day grind. In a world full of chaos, sports unite and entertain like nothing else!
