What Draft Picks Do the Los Angeles Rams Have in 2025? All Los Angeles Rams 2025 NFL Draft Picks per Round

Devavrat Kulkarni

The Rams need more pass-catching options and quality in defense from the draft

The Los Angeles Rams have been a consistent team ever since head coach Sean McVay took over in 2017. Since then the Rams have made two Super Bowls and won one in 2021. Quarterback Matthew Stafford’s first season with the Rams was the same year they lifted the Lombardi Trophy, but there was a possibility that he would have left this offseason. However, the Rams were successful in extending his contract, even though Stafford is yet to make it official by signing on the dotted line.

Nonetheless, Los Angeles has been busy this offseason making roster moves, none bigger than the release of wide receiver Cooper Kupp and the signing of Davante Adams as his replacement. Kupp’s release came as a big surprise to one and all, but the Rams had their reasons and with youngster Puka Nacua’s role growing within the team, LA will lean on Tutu Atwell to provide sufficient production at the WR3 position.

However, the Rams should still look to add depth to the receiving room as well as the tight end room. On the defensive side of things, rookie linebacker Jared Verse won the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2024, but LA needs to add depth at the linebacker and cornerback positions through this draft.

What Are the Rams’ Draft Picks in 2025?

Through the 7-round draft, the Rams have a total of 8 picks in the upcoming draft. While the number may seem decent, the important thing to note is that 4 of their 8 picks are in round 6. The other 4 picks are distributed in rounds 1,3, and 4 with no selections in rounds 2,5, and 7.

Positional Needs for the Rams

As discussed previously, the Rams need to add depth and quality at the linebacker and corner positions. Last season, Byron Young performed well along with Verse, but more quality, especially at inside linebacker will be a boost at the second level of defense. As for the cornerback spot, Quentin Lake stood out last season at the slot corner position, but the rest of the players all had stretches of good and poor form. Finding a top-level corner in the middle rounds may be a difficult task this year as the position is not that deep.

On offense, adding a wide receiver to compete with Atwell should be a priority, but even more than that will be trying to find a quality tight end. That may be possible given that the tight-end class this time around has great potential. Another key area to focus on will be an offensive lineman since they traded Jonah Jackson to the Bears.

I am a content writer for the NFL team, and joined The Playoffs after working with Sportskeeda and NFL Analysis as an NFL writer. After starting my professional career as a French-to-English translator, working as a content writer is a new adventure for me. I started out in the sports media field for two main reasons: my love for sports in general, especially the NFL, NBA, and Tennis, as well as my passion for writing. The best part of this job is that I get to write a variety of pieces with the freedom to explore content from various angles. It also enables me to stay up to date with the sporting world, which otherwise can be difficult to do in the day-to-day grind. In a world full of chaos, sports unite and entertain like nothing else!
