We are about to enter week 11 of the 2024 NFL season after an exciting week 10. Week 10 gave us plenty of moments to be excited for. The Deebo Samuel-Taybor Pepper confrontation, Jake Bates helping the Lions pull off a comeback win, the Jared Goff interception fiasco– there was never a dull moment!
Week 11 Thursday Night Football game will feature a 30-year old NFC East rivalry. The two NFC East sides in focus for week 11 TNF game are ranked 1st and 2nd in the NFC East. So, who plays Thursday Night Football tonight? Let’s find out!
Thursday Night Football tonight will feature a clash between the Philadelphia Eagles (7-2) and the Washington Commanders (7-3). The two NFC East sides are ranked 1st and 2nd in their division. It would be fair to say that this matchup will be a battle for supremacy in the NFC East.
The Washington Commanders have had one of the best turnaround of fate after drafting rookie Jayden Daniels. A team that was 4-13 in the 2023 season now finds itself at 7-3 through week 10 of the 2024 season. Daniels is the rookie passing leader this season over peers Bo Nix and Caleb Williams.
The Commanders are flying high but they need to be careful about dealing with the Philadelphia Eagles. In the 10 games played this season, Jayden Daniels and co. have scored 30 touchdowns but the defense has allowed the opponents to score 27 against them. Their defense should be the primary concern against the likes of Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley.
The Eagles have scored 28 touchdowns while their defense has allowed only 16 TDs to be scored against them. The Eagles have won 5 straight games coming out of their bye-week, including three wins with more than 20+ points in their last 4 games. Jalen Hurts has 1,976 passing yards for 12 passing TDs and 378 rushing yards for 10 rushing touchdowns this season.

RB Saquon Barkley has complimented Hurts on the Eagles’ offensive unit. He has carried the ball 171 times for 991 yards and 6 touchdowns while averaging 110.1 yards per game. Wide receivers A. J. Brown and DeVonta Smith have also been key players in the Eagles’ offense. The Commanders vs. Eagles TNF game tonight will be a contest to watch out for.
Thursday Night Football Kick-off Time: 8:15 p.m. Eastern Time, Thursday, November 14, 2024.
Week 11 Eagles vs. Commanders Location: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The Washington Commanders lead the overall head-to-head against the Philadelphia Eagles by 89-84-5. In the last 5 meetings between the two NFC East teams, the Eagles have won 4 games and lost one.
