Prize money earnings of the women’s singles winner and runner-up.
In what turned out to be a perfect advert for women’s tennis, Aryna Sabalenka and Amanda Anisimova played out a blockbuster final at the US Open 2025 on Saturday. In the end, it was the Belarusian World No. 1 who reigned supreme yet again, retaining her crown at Flushing Meadows. Sabalenka won her fourth Grand Slam trophy in the process and pocketed a massive amount in terms of the prize money.
World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka has earned $5 million for winning the US Open 2025 women’s singles championship. “I think the mental side of the game was the main thing today,” said the now two-time US Open champ after the match. “She [Anisimova] broke me back, she played incredible tennis, she was returning well. But for me it was all about staying focused and not letting the emotions take control over me. That was the key. I was really proud of how I handled my emotions today.”
With her $5 million US Open prize, Aryna Sabalenka just cracked $12 million in season earnings and $42 million for her career.

Despite losing another Grand Slam final, Amanda Anisimova will walk away with $2.5 million added to her purse. The 24-year-old American had a memorable fortnight, beating the likes of Iga Swiatek and Naomi Osaka. For the 52nd year, the US Open has continued its tradition of equal pay for men and women in 2025. As a result, Anisimova has officially crossed the $6 million line for the season after her big paycheck in New York.
“It has been a great summer,” acknowledged the young American in the aftermath of her second straight loss in a major final. Earlier this year, Anisimova was handed a 0-6 0-6 beating at the hands of Iga Swiatek in the Wimbledon final. “Losing in two finals in a row is great, but it’s also super hard. I think I didn’t fight hard enough for my dreams today.”
