UFC Mexico Parlay Picks & Best Combos For The Main Card

Zaid Quraishi

UFC Mexico lands at Arena CDMX in Mexico City on Saturday, February 28, with Brandon Moreno vs Lone’er Kavanagh headlining a stacked main card. The flyweight main event tops a card that also features a dangerous bantamweight co-main between Marlon Vera and David Martinez, plus explosive lightweight and bantamweight clashes throughout.

Below, we’ve put together our favorite UFC Mexico parlay picks and best combos for the main card. These are the spots where we think it actually makes sense to tie fights and markets together. Rather than forcing 6-8 legs just for a bigger payout, we’re keeping our parlays selective and focused on logical connections.

Parlays are always higher risk, higher reward, so we’re keeping our combos tight. If you prefer straight bets, you can also see our UFC Mexico best bets and single fight predictions.

Best Parlay #1 – Main Card Value Combo

Fight/MarketOdds & Books
Leg 1 – Moreno moneyline vs Kavanagh-210 at FanDuel
Leg 2 – Martinez by Decision vs Vera-175 at FanDuel
Leg 3 – Zellhuber vs Green Over 2.5 Rounds128 at FanDuel
Combined parlay price+314 at FanDuel

This is our core main card combo: the hometown favorite expected to control a five-round main event, the dominant decision method in the most one-sided co-main on the card, and an over leg in a fight that is structurally built for a long night. We’re comfortable tying these together because Moreno’s championship experience is a clear advantage, Martinez’s path to victory almost certainly runs through the scorecards, and Zellhuber’s UFC history screams distance.

Leg-by-Leg Reasoning

Leg 1 – Moreno ML (-210 FanDuel): Brandon Moreno enters this main event as a two-time former flyweight champion fighting in front of his home crowd in Mexico City. His numbers reflect a patient, pressure-based game built for long fights. Kavanagh is a legitimate 26-year-old prospect but Moreno’s championship pacing, takedown threat, and sheer comfort in the fifth round of a fight are matchup edges that compound over 25 minutes.

Leg 2 – Martinez by Decision (-175 FanDuel): David Martinez enters as a -300 favorite. The decision method at -175 is the cleanest reflection of what books genuinely expect here. Martinez brings relentless output and volume to neutralize Vera’s toughness. But Vera’s durability across three rounds makes a finish unlikely.

Leg 3 – Zellhuber vs Green Over 2.5 Rounds (-128 FanDuel): Six of Zellhuber’s seven UFC bouts have gone to a decision. He lands 5.83 significant strikes per minute but absorbs 5.91, which means both men can be hurt, yet neither has a track record of quick finishes against quality opposition. Green’s defensive metrics mean he is not an easy man to stop, and Zellhuber’s distance-based, kicking-heavy style rarely produces first or second round finishes.

Best Parlay #2 – Finish Parlay

Fight/MarketOdds & Book
Leg 1 – Luna by KO/TKO vs Pacheco+145 at FanDuel
Leg 2 – Rodriguez by KO/TKO vs Borjas+120 at BetMGM
Leg 3 – Chairez by KO/TKO vs Bunes+210 at FanDuel
Combined parlay price+680 at FanDuel/BetMGM

This parlay stacks three fights where the heavy favorite has a clear and documented path to a finish. All three fights are expected to end early by both books, and all three heavy favorites carry legitimate finishing tools. Rather than playing the moneylines at juice, we’re targeting the KO/TKO method on each to maximize value.

Leg-by-Leg Reasoning

Leg 1 – Luna by KO/TKO (+145 FanDuel): Santiago Luna is 7-0 with all seven wins by stoppage; three knockouts and four submissions. His average fight time is just 2:48. He lands 5.36 significant strikes per minute and carries a four-inch reach advantage over Pacheco. At +145 for the KO/TKO method, you are simply asking for the most likely outcome from the most dangerous finisher on the card.

Leg 2 – Rodriguez by KO/TKO (+120 BetMGM): Imanol Rodriguez carries a 6-0 record with a KO/TKO method priced at +120. He lands a massive 9.09 significant strikes per minute against an opponent in Borjas who absorbs 5.74 per minute. At +120, the KO/TKO method is effectively at even money for a fighter whose output numbers suggest he will overwhelm Borjas in short order.

Leg 3 – Chairez by KO/TKO (+210 FanDuel): Edgar Chairez comes in as a -350 favorite. His submission threat adds a second finish pathway, but the striking profile points toward an early KO/TKO finish as the primary outcome. At +210, it’s the highest-value leg on the board.

Longshot Parlay Play

Fight/MarketOdds & Book
Leg 1 – Kavanagh moneyline vs Moreno+176 at FanDuel
Leg 2 – Vera moneyline vs Martinez+245 at FanDuel
Leg 3 – King Green moneyline vs Zellhuber+350 at FanDuel
Combined parlay price+4185 at FanDuel

This is a pure longshot. All three legs are underdogs, and each carries a realistic upset scenario, even if none are likely on their own. Bet 0.1–0.25 units maximum.

Leg-by-Leg Reasoning

Leg 1 – Kavanagh ML (+176 FanDuel): Kavanagh is 9-1 with a 88% takedown defense and lands 4.29 significant strikes per minute at 49% accuracy. These numbers are sharper than Moreno’s own output metrics. In a five-rounder, against a fighter coming off a TKO loss, the upset is not impossible.

Leg 2 – Vera ML (+245 FanDuel): Marlon Vera is a former ranked bantamweight with genuine finishing power in both hands. Martinez is the right favorite at -300, but Vera is not a fighter who simply fades. If Vera lands early and gets Martinez hurt, the upset becomes live.

Leg 3 – King Green ML (+350 FanDuel): Green is 39 years old with a 33-17-1 record and lands 6.30 significant strikes per minute at 52% accuracy. Zellhuber has gone 2-3 in his last five UFC fights and is coming off back-to-back losses. At +350, Green’s experience, sharp counter-punching, and Zellhuber’s inconsistency make this the most defensible longshot leg on the card.

How We’re Building UFC Parlays For UFC Mexico

Our philosophy is to keep leg count low to limit compounding risk. We cap our core parlays at three legs maximum and only tie legs together where they logically fit. Finish-heavy fights justify method picks, clear skill gaps support moneyline bets, and decision methods are reserved for fights where one path to the scorecards is genuinely more likely than a finish.

We avoid stuffing in every favorite just to chase huge numbers. Parlays are high-risk, high-reward and should be a small part of your overall bankroll, typically 20-30% of what you’d bet on a straight play. Check FanDuel and BetMGM for MMA parlay promos before placing bets.
