The UFC returns to British soil after more than a year away. London has always held a special place in UFC history. The O2 Arena has witnessed many memorable moments since the promotion’s first visit. British fighters rose to fame there and international stars tested themselves against the passionate London crowd.

The electric atmosphere of a UFC London event stands among the best in the sport. Now the octagon makes its long-awaited return to the English capital on March 22, bringing both familiar faces and exciting newcomers.

Former welterweight champion Leon Edwards headlines the card in a crucial bounce-back fight. ‘Rocky’ lost his title to Belal Muhammad in a hard-fought battle at UFC 304 last year. Now he faces one of the division’s most dangerous rising stars in Sean Brady. The American brings a near perfect UFC record with him.

The co-main event features former light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz taking on the surging Carlos Ulberg. Blachowicz has been a mainstay at the top of the division for years. British fans have plenty to cheer for beyond the main event. Kevin Holland will take on the veteran Gunnar Nelson. Fan favorite Molly ‘Meatball’ McCann returns to action against Alexia Thainara. McCann’s energy and personality have made her one of the UK’s most beloved fighters.

Jordan Vucenic and Chris Duncan will throw down in a three round battle in the stacked lightweight division. The first fight on the main card is a featherweight battle between Nathaniel Wood and Morgan Charriere.

Fighters On The Preliminary Card

The card runs deep with promising matchups. Featherweight veteran Jai Herbert will take on Chris Padilla. Lone’er Kavanagh and Felipe Dos Santos will engage in a clash of fists in the high speed flyweight division. The heavyweight division gets representation with a clash between veteran Marcin Tybura and rising English prospect Mick Parkin. This fight could determine who moves up in the increasingly competitive heavyweight rankings.

Christian Leroy Duncan continues his middleweight campaign against Andrey Pulyaev. Indian fighter Puja Tomar will look to add to her wins in a fight against Shauna Bannon. Nathan Fletcher will take on the CaolanLoughran in a bantamweight bout. UFC London card will start with Guram Kutateladze in a lightweight clash against Kaue Fernandes.
