The Nina Drama Curse Claims Marvin Vettori! What Is the Nina Drama Curse in the UFC?

At UFC Vegas 104’s main event of the evening, we saw Roman Dolidze defeat Marvin Vettori via unanimous decision. Dolidze avenged his loss that he suffered against the Italian two years ago on March of 2023. He controlled the final two rounds of the fight and outstriked Vettori with 112-141. After the fight Dolidze went ahead and called out Robert Whittaker and Israel Adesanya.

Meanwhile for the “Italian dream,” this was not how he must have pictured his return to the Octagon after battling an injury for almost two years. The 31 year old is 2-3 in his last five bouts and has not yet captured the middleweight title since he came close to winning it, back in 2021 going up against Adesanya. After the fight Vettori went on to say, “life sometimes shows you that even if you give your heart out and everything you got, you still fall short.”

Vettori’s latest loss has also stirred up some controversy as prior to the fight, he had previously gotten interviewed by Nina-Marie Danielle aka Nina Drama, who fans think is the reason why Vettori lost the fight. Why? It is not because of some distraction or drugs that Nina handed out but instead many believe that Nina has a curse that makes fighters lose. Let us discuss it further.

Nina Drama Curse Explained!

Although there was certainly a lot of buzz and controversy surrounding Nina Drama’s curse prior to 2025, this year, almost every fighter that Nina has interviewed or friendly sparred with, has lost their fights. According to various fans, it seems like Danielle has some kind of negative aura, a curse, or just bad luck, which results in fighters either losing their fights or getting injured.

Vettori is the latest victim that was interviewed by Danielle prior to the fight. Previously we’ve also seen fighters likes Arman Tsarukyan getting injured after she interviewed him, or Alex Pereira, who she sparred with, lose to Magomed Ankalaev, or even Sean Strickland and Anshul Jubli who both lost their respective fights after they sat down for an interview with her.

However, she also interviewed Dricus Du Plessis who went on to win his fight but obviously there’s more losses connected to her name then wins. So if curses actually exists in sports, Nina Drama is currently at the peak of it all!
