UFC Announces 2 Huge Fight Night Matches, Including a Grudge Match!

The UFC has electrified fans with two major fight announcements for 2025, which is setting the stage for unforgettable showdowns between some of the best fighters in the world. UFC Fight Night in Atlanta on June 14, 2025, gains a high-octane bantamweight clash, while UFC 318 in New Orleans on July 19, 2025, adds a grudge-fueled middleweight battle. The matchups, joining already stacked cards, promises intense action and pivotal moments for the fighters involved.

Blockbuster Fights Elevate UFC 2025 Cards

The two fights that were announced are;

Cody Garbrandt vs. Raoni Barcelos– It bolsters the UFC Fight Night Atlanta lineup. Garbrandt, the former bantamweight champion, brings his explosive striking and relentless pace, and is aiming to reassert his dominance, by getting back in the win column as Garbrandy lost his last fight against Deiveson Figueiredo in April of 2024, via submission. Raoni Barcelos plans to upset Garbrandt’s comeback, as he is an great striker who can also take his opponents out by submitting them.

Marvin Vettori vs. Brendan Allen, is set for UFC 318, and it is a middleweight grudge match that is filled with bad bood. Allen and Vettori were supposed to square off in April of 2024 initially, however the fight was scrapped due to Vettori’s injury, leading to a heated casino brawl in Florida that August. This fight packs some serious punch as the bad blood between the two has only escalated since then. Both the fighters are coming off of 2 consecutive losses, and are trying to get back in the win column.

These fight elevate UFC’s fight cards in 2025. Atlanta’s card is already as stacked as it can get, as we not only have Cody Garbrandt vs Raoni Barcelos, but it is headlined by Kamaru Usman vs Joaquin Buckley, which will be something special to watch. Whereas, UFC 318 is headlined by Max Holloway vs. Dustin Poirier, which will be Poirier’s retirement fight and that promises to be an equally entertaining match.
