Trea Turner once again proved him to be a valuable member of the Philadelphia Phillies, when he hit the solo home run during the top of the ninth innings on April 9, 2025. His performance helped the Philadelphia Phillies win 4-3 and settle the score 1-1 against the Atlanta Braves in their three game series in the 2025 MLB season.

The veteran shortstop, now in his fourth year with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2025, has already won the MLB World Series in 2019 as a former member of the Washington Nationals. He has also participated in the MLB All-Star games thrice in his career so far. His other achievements include leading the National League (NL) in stolen bases in 2018 and 2021. He also became the NL Batting Champion in 2021.

Trea Turner performed noticeably well in the second game against the Atlanta Braves on April 9, 2025. He finished 2-for-4 through his game winning home run in the top of the ninth innings against a slider from Raisel Iglesias. Notably, this was also his first homer of the 2025 MLB season.
